About Bates Electric

At age 18, Baron Bates got into the electrical field by just riding on another electrical contractors truck on Fridays and Saturdays. It ended up turning into a full time job which he worked for over 5 years. Baron went on to get an electrical license through the state of Ohio and started his own business, Bates Electric. When Baron started his company, he was still working full time for a very large corn processing plant around the Dayton area. He quickly learned industrial electric at this facility and about controls wiring. While working full time for the corn processing plant, Baron would run his company in the evenings and on the weekends. He started to get so busy that he eventually quit working for the corn facility and became 100% self-employed focusing all my attention on his company and client base.

Baron has over a decade experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electric as well as experiencing servicing the agricultural communities electrical needs. Baron is capable of performing the smallest of electrical projects or million dollar commercial projects, no electrical job is too big or too small for Bates Electric. Baron has furthered his electrical knowledge by attending two schools for electricians. One was a tech school that thought the specifics of motor control, residential code, commercial code, and PLCs. The other school was for electrical distribution.

Through his education, Baron learned how electricity is created at the plant and exactly how it gets to your home or business. He learned to climb poles, set transformers, build distribution lines, and how large transmission lines are worked on, inspected, and repaired. Baron has a vast knowledge of the electrical field and is dedicated to keeping up-to-date on all things related to electricity and electrical needs for the home and business.
