PRIVACY POLICY
Effective October 1, 2026. Bates Electric respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information provided through our website.
Our consultation request forms collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, and any project details you provide. Our text-preference form collects your mobile number and any name or email address you choose to provide.
SERVICE REQUESTS
We securely store your inquiry and send consultation requests to FieldPulse, our service-management system. Contact information is synchronized with HighLevel, our customer relationship system, to help us respond to your questions and manage your project. Submitting a request does not book an appointment or enroll you in a messaging campaign.
MARKETING AND YOUR CHOICES
Our consultation request form discloses that submitting a request signs you up for Bates Electric consultation emails, seasonal electrical tips, reminders, and offers. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Text messaging consent is collected separately through optional, unchecked checkboxes for marketing and non-marketing messages. You may submit a request without selecting either checkbox.
YOUR INFORMATION
We retain your inquiry and related contact records to manage your request. Service providers supporting website hosting and secure storage may process information on our behalf.
To ask about your inquiry, correct information, or request removal, call (937) 681-0606 or write to Bates Electric, 902 E 2nd St, Dayton, OH 45402. This policy covers all website contact and text opt-in forms.
COOKIES AND TRACKING
Our website and hosting services may use essential cookies or similar technologies for security and website functionality. Server logs can include browser, device, and request information. Consultation requests may include campaign information from the page URL to help us understand how you found us. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect website features. Cookie activity does not establish SMS consent, and we do not use it to subscribe you to messages.
When enabled, we use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure visits, video plays, call-button clicks and completed consultation requests and to improve our advertising. Meta may receive browser and click identifiers, IP address, browser information, the page address and a hashed email address for matching. We do not send your phone number, service address, project message or SMS consent choices to Meta through this integration. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Tracking does not subscribe you to text messages.
We use Google Tag Manager to manage website measurement tags. Loading this tool makes a request to Google from your browser. Our event data layer records page paths, video identifiers, interaction types and a consultation request reference; it does not include your name, email address, phone number, service address, project details or messaging-consent choices. We do not load Tag Manager when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Installing Tag Manager does not itself subscribe you to messages.
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand visits and interactions, including video plays, call-button clicks, and completed consultation requests. Google may process cookie identifiers, browser and device information, and network information to provide analytics. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, project details, or messaging-consent choices to Google Analytics. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. You can manage cookies in your browser, and our analytics does not load when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Our SMS program is intended for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly enroll children in text messaging. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
DATA PROTECTION
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information and limit access to people and service providers who need it to support our business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
TEXT MESSAGING PRIVACY
Our contact and text opt-in form records your mobile number, any name, email address and message you provide, the categories you select, and a dated copy of the consent wording. We use your contact information and message to handle your inquiry. We also retain the page URL, browser information, and protected identifiers used to limit abuse. These records help us honor your choices and demonstrate consent. Choosing neither category does not subscribe you to texts.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Keep your number current. To withdraw consent, request access or correction, or ask about retention or deletion, contact Bates Electric at (937) 681-0606 or baron@bateselec.com. We keep records as needed to manage requests, honor opt-outs, and maintain evidence of consent. Reply STOP to unsubscribe once messages begin. Read our SMS Terms & Conditions.
