SMS TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective October 1, 2026. Bates Electric provides electrical services in Ohio. These terms cover our optional text messaging program. By selecting an SMS consent checkbox and submitting our contact form, you agree to these terms for that message category. Providing a phone number alone does not give consent to receive text messages.
Your choices
You may separately consent to marketing messages about special offers, discounts, and service updates, and to non-marketing messages about your consultation and estimate requests, appointment confirmations and reminders, and electrical-service updates. Messages may use automated technology. Frequency varies with your selected categories and activity. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or requesting service. Provide a number you own or are authorized to use, and tell us if you change it.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in the Bates Electric SMS program. By opting into text messages, you confirm that you are 18 or older and are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation of your unsubscribe request, after which no further messages will be sent from this program. To receive messages again, sign up again through our contact and text opt-in form. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact Bates Electric at (937) 681-0606 or baron@bateselec.com. You may also contact us directly to withdraw consent.
Rates and delivery
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you and messages you send to us. Message frequency varies with your selected categories and service activity. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your text or data plan. Delivery depends on your carrier and network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texting is not an emergency service; call 911 for an immediate threat to life or safety.
